Description
Located on the corner of Fourth and Bainbridge in the heart of Queen Village. Southwark was first opened in 2004 by Kip and Sheri Waide with a focus on classic cocktails and local ingredients.
After over a decade of offering some of the city's best cocktails and most memorable dining experiences, the Waides sold their beloved restaurant to Chef Christopher D'Ambro and Marina de Oliveira. After a brief closure due to minor renovations, Southwark reopened in February of 2016 with the same dedication to the local food movement and spirit driven cocktails.
Chris and Marina are thrilled to be carrying on such a wonderful tradition in this reimagined neighborhood favorite!
At Southwark we source our ingredients from local farmers and co-ops in order to sustain and support local farms and economies.
The bar is equally dedicated to featuring local and hand crafted products. We pride ourselves in preparing classic and inspired spirit driven cocktails.
