Ernesto was born into a family of 21 children in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Angelina was born into a family of 6 in a small town, Longano, in the Abbruzzi region of Italy. They met in Philadelphia and married in 1970. Having both come from Italian families Ernesto and Angelina were driven to create something unique together; a place that represents the culture in which they came from, and something that could give them what they've never had; opportunity.
