The Friends of Hawthorne Park is a group of neighborhood volunteers who have come together to support Hawthorne Park, Hawthorne's community park at 12th & Catharine Streets. Its mission is to ensure that the Park, which opened in July, 2012, remains a beautiful and vibrant community resource – safe, clean, and the venue for community events and performances.
