Description
Our passion for food and drink is rivaled only by our steadfast commitment to offering our diners the best overall experience. You see, we are a family of artists, musicians, chefs, bartenders and more, intent on creating a culture of friends who share our passion for all things delicious.
Yet an Altar still, our bar (from an old decommissioned church on 10th and Green) is used to praise a different kind of spirit, the spirit of Ischabaha, the spirit of whiskey. The second floor bar and stage will be home only to the finest musicians and performers, offering up the best time to be had in Northern Liberties. Greg Altman, of the band "Vacationer,” will be lining up music from Indie to Bluegrass, Hip-Hop to Folk. More exciting still, stay tuned for the debut of our "Bourbon & Branch Burlesque Brunch”!
While vacationing abroad, Chef Alex Carbonell and Lord of the Bar, Righteous Jolly, found themselves traipsing the countryside whilst feasting upon tripe, haggis, suckling pig and all things regional. Perhaps the most enlightening thing they came across was the 1 ounce pour. More pleasing to the palate, and lighter on the wallet, the 1 ounce pour allows you to sample more.
While the old world became the new world, one thing remained the same, food of comfort. Chef Alex has created twists on classic pub fare such as his "Lamb Bourguignon Shepherds Pie”, and "Tikka Masala Mussels,” and rest assured there will be something for everyone. Righteous Jolly looks forward
